Salsa Latina Restaurant( Click

With
the weather getting warmer outside, it seems fitting that this months
featured restaurant be Salsa Latina located on 315 Central Ave.
in Albany New York. As one who truly enjoys Latin/Mexican cuisine
I can honestly say that this place is now on the top of my list
of best Latin/Mexican restaurants in the Capital Region. From the
calming Spanish music being played, to the unique decorations of
Latin heritage all around the restaurant it truly gave me the feeling
of being in a place of Spanish origin. The restaurant also contained
a bar which also makes it perfect for a friendly after-work place
to go and relax. Along with the wonderful décor I took notice
that the room’s layout was very spacious, perfect for holding
large group without the feeling of claustrophobia.
The menu itself
was a tad bit overwhelming with the number of options to choose
from, yet it was also pleasing to know they had variety. I was pleased
to find out that the restaurant began to warm up our appetite by
starting us off with a pleasant helping of Nachos and Salsa (a traditional
appetizer given at Latin/Mexican restaurants). Service was very
good as well. The waiter was extremely polite and quick to help
us with our needs. However the food was a whole different story.
The kitchen certainly didn’t hold back. The amount of food
made sure you definitely got your money’s worth. As far as
the quality goes, all I can say is this is how a Mexican cuisine
SHOULD be!! Overall I was extremely pleased with everything that
Salsa Latina had to offer and will definitely make another visit
very soon!
