Circus Cafe ( Click here to view menu )

Food Service Atmosphere
Overall Rating = 93% out of 100%

Ladies and Gentlemen, children of all ages. I am pleased to introduce this months featured restaurant...The Circus Cafe located on 392 Broadway in historic Saratoga Springs New York. The Circus themed restaurant can accommodate a large gathering because it contains both indoor and outdoor seating for the customer(s). Upon entering I was impressed by the interior decor. Colorful curtains drape the doorways and walls presenting the illusion of an actual big top circus tent. Towards the back is a private room which is perfect for small parties, luncheons, meetings and random occasions. Catering is also provided by the Circus Cafe on or off premises. The cafe also provides entertainment including Live Jazz, Open Mic, Karaoke and Nouveau Jazz Beat, sure to keep the audience entertained. The cafe holds happy hour Mon-Fri 4-7pm which is fun for everyone.

Circus Cafe's dinner menu contains a large array of delicious dining options. One can find everything from traditional meat and potatoes to outstanding healthy dishes. While looking over the menu I noticed that many dishes had symbols to inform the customer which items are new; signature dishes or vegan friendly. For those worried about the gluten content, have no fear, just ask your server for a "Gluten-Free Menu" and you can enjoy an amazing meal that suits your taste buds and your lifestyle!
Along with the lunch and dinner menus they also provide a special Kids Menu (ages 12 & under) with meals that appeal to children. The menu includes such dishes as "Clowns Delight" (Mac & Cheese), "Elephant's Favorite" (Peanut butter & Jelly) and other fun selections for the kids.

As soon as you are seated a bus ser comes around with a large bowl of popcorn keeping with the theme of the cafe. Looking at the appetizers I found everything from seafood selections, fried foods and spanish inspired starters. However we decided on the Mozzarella Sticks served with melba (raspberry flavored) sauce. Who would have thought the combination of fried foods with melba sauce could be so addicting. For the main entree I decided to test one of their "signature dishes". As someone who loves american burgers I had to try out their Circus Burger served with circus fries (fried in 0 Trans Fat Oil) or a market salad (I picked the circus fries, a perfect combination with the melba sauce). Voted "Saratoga's Best Burger" I was not disappointed. Though we were too full for dessert I made sure to take notice of the dessert section. Along with desserts such as Chocolate Lava Cake, Pecan Pie Sundae and Ice cream I could not help but notice they gave Homemade Cotton Candy as a selection perfect for children and even adults of all ages.

Leaving the cafe I made sure to look around and noticed a lot of happy entertained customers. Just like them I was extremely pleased with the performance held at the Circus Cafe. Be sure to stop by.
